Kickstart the New Year and get the blood flowing with a high-energy, full-body, and dynamic kettlebell workout. Kettlebells are great for adding resistance to athletic movement, helping your body efficiently burn extra fat, build strength, and tone muscle through a variety of positions and motions.
In this 30-minute session, you’ll increase your heart rate, fire up the quads, and challenge the core under the tutelage of celebrated personal trainer, host, speaker, and supermom of three: Luwamé. The class is designed for all levels of personal fitness and modifications will be given for each exercise, so that you can comfortably adjust the swings, presses, or carries to match your comfort and fitness level.
Don’t have a kettlebell?
Kettlebells are one of the most versatile bits of equipment you can incorporate in your workout regimen, but if you don’t have a kettlebell handy, don’t worry! Pick up a set of free weights, like dumbbells, or find a substitute in a pinch. Common kettlebell alternatives you might have around the house include: detergent jugs, milk or water jugs, backpacks, or paint cans. The point is to add a comfortable bit of resistance to your workout, so you can maximize results.
