The Gruppo Campanari di Arrone (GCA), or Bell Ringers Group of Arrone, with support from Italy’s National Federation of Bell Ringers, is coordinating the 14th annual massed ringing initiative to raise awareness and support for the cause of human rights. This year offers particular focus on the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, as well as areas affected by natural disasters.
Bell ringers the world over are invited to perform at 8:00pm on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Performance duration and repertoire may be decided by individual towers and bell ringers. The aim is to disseminate the need for a firm commitment, dignity, and seriousness in the pursuit of universal human rights – through the resounding harmonies of sacred bronzes.
